Zambian Music duo Dope Boys posted a statement on their Facebook page where they talk about the untold story behing the goat album release. However the main message they send to people is about turning challenges into learning opportunities. In 2022, if you can recall, they had released their first music album titled G.O.A.T. Before the release of their album, their facebook page was hacked and rebranded as “Criss Edward.” Despite this set back, the music duo managed to upload their music album on the platform Boomplay with the help of Shinko Beats. However the album was mistakenky put on premium user subscription and they received so much backlash.
Shinko Beats managed to resolve the issue and their royalties where paid. This experience taught them important lessons about digital management. They thank Shinko Beats for all the help rendered. Below is a screenshot of the statement.
