Yesterday, 2nd May 2026, We reported about “Yo Maps Will Delete/Edit Kissing Scenes of Girls in Music Video Following ZAMs Directive“. Today a new drama has unfolded. Yo Maps record label Olios Records through their Facebook Page said and we quote “No one from the Zambian Music Industry has contacted Olios Management or Yo Maps directly concerning the Budget video.We remain open to professional dialogue with all industry stakeholders and regulatory bodies“.
Yo Maps himsef then wrote “I don’t remember talking to Mr B Flow concerning anything and for your own information am not Editing/ Removing any video on my YouTube those who felt the need to contact me would have done so private“.
Yo Maps wife, Kidist Kifle also had a say on this. She said “And to state categorically that it’d be nice to see them do more than just play soccer on the weekends and show up at airports”.
B Flow decided to respond to Kidist. B Flow stated that Kidist Kifle is not a musician and she should stay in her own lane. He further said that Kidist should also try to mention how ZAM has helped artists take visas so that they can perform outside the country and it has also helped artists go to Burkina Faso to perform at events. This insinuated that ZAM had helped Yo Maps archieve all that.
Kidist Kifle and Yo Maps didn’t hesitate to respond to B Flow. Yo Maps went on and said and we quote “When did B Flow become the manager? LOL, Ungaseke”. Kidist also had her say, she said and we quote “I do not need to be an artist to speak on this matter. Like it or not, I am directly involved. This is not just a creative issue it is a business matter that affects what we are building“.
Kidist Kifle went further stating “B Flow or ZAM did not make any effort to reach out to Yo maps regarding their concerns. If the intention was truly to provide guidance or constructive rebuke, there were clear and respectful ways to do so”.
